Visit to slaughterhouse and meat packing plant (Sheep)

|
Ante and post mortem inspection of sheep
Hands on experience in the boning hall and the packing hall
Shadowing the Vet. and the MHS operatives and understanding of their respective roles
Understanding of quality control mechanisms, including experience of testing regime
HACCP and Risk Assessment as they apply to all stages of the process
