Nature of Training Opportunity

(F2) Routine inspection of food premises, including the identification of food safety hazards and critical control points and priority rating of premises.

( Type of premises will depend on what premises are due for inspection at time of student visit)

Training Outcome

An appreciation of how to identify risks associated with food preparation, handing, storage and an understanding of how these risks are controlled by critical control points.

Experience of making contemporaneous notes.

Experience of auditing HACCP systems( in some cases)
