Nature of Training Opportunity	Air Quality Monitoring & Management
Training Outcome	Students will undertake a visit to an Automatic Continuous Monitoring Station accredited to National Standards Gain an understanding of various pollutants (NOx, SO₂, CO, PM10 and Benzene) and their impact upon health Gain experience of real time and passive air pollution monitoring and an understanding of the review and assessment process Develop an appreciation of continuous air pollution analysers, routine calibration and maintenance requirements. Interpret trends in results and scrutinise ratified data posted on national websites
