Nature of training opportunity

Understanding of the principles and practical application of HACCP and conduct of a HACCP audit.

Training outcome

This is a group visit, including a lecture on HACCP  a structured HACCP audit and an opportunity to feedback findings and recommendations.

Students will gain an understanding of the principles underpinning and applications of HACCP in a commercial / industrial food environment .

Students will undertake a practical HACCP audit of part of a food production unit and report their findings, making such recommendations as are appropriate.
