Nature of training opportunity

1 week placement based at a Cardiff city centre hotel focusing on all aspects of food hygiene, safety and standards, may include design/delivery of food related training

Training outcome

Students will engage in:

  1. Food related projects including food hygiene compliance audits; HACCP audits, prevention of contamination, investigation of food complaints, prevention of food borne illness.
  2. Food related environmental protection projects including waste disposal and safety of drinking water.
