Nature of training opportunity

1 week placement based at a Cardiff city centre hotel focusing on all aspects of food hygiene, safety and standards, may include design/delivery of food related training

Training outcome

Students will engage in:

  1. Food related projects including food hygiene compliance audits; HACCP audits, prevention of contamination, investigation of food complaints, prevention of food borne illness and viral infections.
  2. Food related environmental protection projects including waste disposal and safety of drinking water.
