Wales’ premier public health conference, organised by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, this year focused on interventions delivered at community level that reduce health inequalities and improve wellbeing.
This year’s event brought together a wide array of speakers and delegates who will discuss and debate some of the big challenges facing public health including:
• Climate change, weather and addressing their impact on health
• Engaging positively with the media to deliver public health messages
• The role of housing and community interventions in improving health and wellbeing
• Planning for community health through the Healthy Cities programme
• Using research to promote effective intervention at individual and community level
